Position : .Net Developer
Location : Mclean, VA
Duration : 6+ Months
Must have Data Structures and Algorithms
Responsibilities:
• We need to process billions of requests a day. You will help us build elegant solutions to this rather unique technical problem
• Use the right tools for the job
• Explore new ideas and find ways to improve software engineering practices across the entire team
• Be fanatical about performance and performance monitoring
• Use efficient data structures and algorithms to enable data processing at scale
• Play a key role in helping shape all aspects of our products from cutting edge usability experiences to large scale data manipulation of terabytes of data
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree, or greater in Computer Science
• Experience with distributed computing and performance analysis
• Highly motivated, creative, self-directed, and thrives in small project teams
• Strong computer science fundamentals including a deep understanding of data structures and distributed algorithms
• Able to create elegant, efficient and testable code
• 5+ years of software development experience with the following technologies: .Net and C#; Linux, Java, JavaScript, Web Services, HTML5, CSS, SQL & NOSQL
