POSITION: .NET/JavaScript Developer

LOCATION: Los Angeles, California 90017, USA

DURATION: 12 Months Contract

Description: 

·         Client is seeking a .NET Developer to develop, enhance, maintain, and support the financial applications. This includes but is not limited to the following three applications.

·         Consolidated Budget Development System (CBDS) – project/task based budget development system designed and developed in-house for the Budget and Grants Department to allow project managers to prepare for their annual budgets. It facilitates the Budgets and Grants Department to manage and analyze Client's budgets to request approval from Caltrans.

·         OWP Management System (OMS) - subsystem of CBDS for Project Managers to submit current year's progress report to Caltrans, Client's funding administrator.

·         Financial Database System (FDS) - contract-oriented system that collects all consultant contract information in a database for the Finance Division to manage, share, and analyze. It also retrieves project task information and invoice transactions from other systems to provide a global view to the Finance staff as well as Client Project Managers.

 

Position Requirements:

·         Fluent in the recent version of Microsoft C#, JavaScript, Crystal Reports, and SQL Server.

·         At least seven years' experience working in medium to large systems that require complex business rules. Financial related applications preferred.

 

Ideal Candidate:

·         Experience with Ironspeed will be a big plus

·         Experience with MVC, JQuery, and Telerik controls.

 

Skills:

·         Microsoft C#, JavaScript, Crystal Reports, and SQL Server, financial, Ironspeed, MVC, JQuery, and Telerik
